Tokyo submarine valley. The entrance to an unknown world
Deep sea, a dark world where sunlight does not reach. And a harsh environment with high water pressure, low water temperature, low oxygen, and poor food. Creatures have evolved independently, adapted to this environment, and survived. Many of the creatures' ecology is a mystery.
At LABO7, "Deep sea aquarium “Mystery of the under water dale”", we exhibit rare creatures living in the deep waters of Tokyo Bay and Sagami Bay, as well as specimens of honey sharks and dolphins captured in this area.
